Next to Normal

Owens presented its spring production of Next to Normal in April. The production was directed by Jeremy Meier with student assistant director Kenzie Shiflett. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Owens presented The Legend of Sleepy Hollow at the Owens Center for Fine and Performing Arts from October 29 through November 1 and also The Valentine Theatre from November 6 to 7.  The production was written and directed by Jeremy Meier, with original music compositions by Eric P. Wallack.  Movement Coaching by Chloe Whiting Stevenson.  The production was stage managed by Diane Schroeder, with assistant stage manager Geneva Simmons.

The Dining Room

Owens presented The Dining Room by A.R. Gurney on April 9 to 12, 2015.  The production was directed by Jeremy Meier, with assistant director Dalton Elza and was stage managed by Silvester Rodriguez IV, with assistant stage manager Anne Wesenberg.

Play On!

Owens presented Play On (an adaptation of Shakespeare'sTwelfth Night) from November 20-23, 2014 in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts main stage theatre.   The production was directed by Jeremy Meier, with new music compositions by Eric P. Wallack.

 

The production included work by lighting and scenic designer Judson Lohman, costuming by Nichole Newman, makeup design and properties by Bianca Marcia, and technical direction by Rick Clever.

 

The cast included Alyson Phillips, Marisa Soto, Drew Young, Jeremy Wilkes, John Toth, Amanda Schmidt, Jeremy Stuart, Dalton Elza, Ben Quintanilla, Jordan Jarvis and Eric P. Wallack.

 

The production was stage managed by Silvester Rodriguez IV, with Kenneth Taylor assisting.  Esteban Vega and Diane Schroeder worked on crew for the production.

The Great American Trailer Park Musical

Owens presented The Great American Trailer Park Musical from April 4-13, 2014 in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts main stage theatre.   The production was directed by Jeremy Meier, with music director Jodi Jobuck, vocal director Jo-Anne Chrysochoos and choreographer Tracy Wilson.

The production included work by scenic designer Judson Lohman, costuming by Nichole Newman with Bianca Marcia, lighting design by Andrew Todd, technical direction by Rick Clever and properties, set dressing and makeup by Bianca Marcia.

 The cast included Amber Breault-Albain, Morgan Brunsman, Jeremy Wilkes, Christopher Smith, Paula Larsen, Emily Pheils, Alyson Phillips, Devon Held, Drew Young, Darian Hacker, Dalton Elza and Kasia Varsak.

The production was stage managed by Marisa Soto, along with Jeremy Stuart and Silvester Rodriguez IV.  Assistant directed by Kenneth Taylor.  Crew included Diane Schroeder, Esteban Vega and Anne Wesenberg.

The band featured Eric Wallack, Gay Galvin, David Saygers and Rob Desmond.

Bonnie Jo Campbell's American Salvage

The production ran at the Owens Center for Fine and Performing Arts from November 21 through 24, 2013.  The cast included. Jeremy Stuart, Jon Master, Esteban Vega, Dejah Rubel, Alexandra Brackett, Devon Held, Ashley Helmke, Landon Tavernier, Alyson Phillips, Jamie Ramlawi and Silvester Rodriguez IV.  The production also featured an original score composed by Eric Wallack.

Owens presented Michael Frayn's Noises Off from April 12 -14 and 19-21 at Owens' Center for Fine and Performing Arts.
